First Appearance and Context

Estemard is first mentioned in conversation at the Concent of Saunt Edhar when Fraa Orolo identifies him as one of his two teachers and notes that Estemard left the math after renouncing his vow.

After departing through the Day Gate, Estemard lived extramuros as a Feral on Bly’s Butte. There he ground a telescope mirror by hand and used it to make observations.
