First Appearance and Context

Onali is introduced at the Concent of Saunt Edhar during Apert. She first appears incognito among visitors touring the Hylaean Way, then later the same day is recognized at Provener wearing the purple robes of the Inquisition, identified alongside Varax as a visiting Inquisitor.

Relationships and Affiliations

• Inquisition official acting in concert with mathic hierarchs when present in the Mynster.
• Varax: traveling colleague and counterpart; the two are repeatedly observed together during the opening.

Important Actions

• While touring incognito she engages an avout guide in a moderating, diplomatic tone; later the same day she appears formally in the chancel as an Inquisitor.
• Present during a formal aut of Voco; after the Evocation, she and Varax help escort the named fraa to an aerocraft departing from the plaza beyond the Day Gate.
• Following later developments, a Decenarian avout speculates that Onali and Varax had previously delivered a sealed page of Evoked names to Statho during Apert. This is recorded as in‑narrative conjecture and not confirmed.

Descriptions/Characteristics

• Female; described as being in her fifth decade of life. While incognito she dresses for commerce and wears a lanyarded flasher; in formal settings she appears in purple Inquisitorial robes with the distinctive visiting hat. Her manner during the tour is smoothing and diplomatic.

Current Status/Location

After the witnessed Evocation, Onali was seen departing the concent by aerocraft with Varax and the Evoked fraa. Her subsequent whereabouts and mission have not been stated.
