Edharian Order

First Appearance and Context

The Edharian Order is a named mathic order associated with Saunt Edhar. At the Concent of Saunt Edhar, the crag‑dwelling Thousanders are identified with it. In local speech, “Edharians” can also refer informally to the active theorics circle working from the Decenarian community.

Relationships and Affiliations

  • Namesake and mother‑house: The order looks to the Concent of Saunt Edhar as its mother site, where its Thousanders occupy the crag above the hall.
  • Cohorts: Chapters associated with both Decenarian and Centenarian maths are referenced locally.

Roles and Activities

  • Founding works: After the Reconstitution, early Edharians undertook large praxic projects at the river bend—shaping the crag, quarrying sound stone for perimeter walls, and carving elements later used in the hall.
  • Current work: In response to a widely observed object in near‑planet space, Edharian avout collaborated in chalk halls on praxic and theoric questions (e.g., propulsion and orbital geometry). Observers noted a red beam falling on the Millenarian math; smoke raised over the crag made the beam’s path visible, and the moving point of light was then sighted along its track.

Current Status

A later Voco named multiple avout, including Edharians, to depart under instructions to travel discreetly in small groups. Their stated destination was a Convox at the Concent of Saunt Tredegarh. Within the home concent, the order remains active in both practical work and collaborative theorics.

Summary:

Recently, Edharian avout organized theoric work concerning an orbital visitor, and several were Evoked toward a Convox at the Concent of Saunt Tredegarh.
