Overview

Vit is an alias used by Erasmas, an Avout traveling outside the walls and effectively Feral, to pass among smugglers and migrants near a northern sledge port. He gives this name when boarding a small, single‑sledge train whose driver shows a crevasse‑probing sonic and says he is headed for Kolya; fellow passengers are Laro, Dag, and Brajj.

Appearance and Traits

Vit is not a distinct persona beyond the need for anonymity. He wears a cold‑weather suitsack like the others and tries to remain inconspicuous; no additional distinguishing description is provided under this name.

Roles and Actions

• Uses the alias while arranging passage and paying half the fare up front on a one‑sledge train bound toward Kolya.
• After the two drivers detach the tractor to seek fuel and leave the passengers behind with supplies, cooperates with Brajj to improvise survival gear (snowshoes from tent poles and suitcase panels; a toboggan from a bench) and set out roped together across crevasse‑prone slopes.
