Fraa Paphlagon

Overview

Fraa Paphlagon comes to notice during Paphlagon's Evocation in the Mynster at the Concent of Saunt Edhar. He is identified with the Edharian tradition and with the Centenarian cohort—the Hundreders.

Appearance and Traits

At the calling, witnesses note that he looked upward before answering, proceeded calmly through the litany, then cast off chord and bolt and stood holding his bolt while gazing up through the well—an image that fixed itself in community memory.

Roles and Actions

• Evocation and departure: Publicly Evoked under the Voco rite and escorted from the Mynster by the Inquisition, departing extramuros by aerocraft.
• Movement between maths: Earlier accounts recall that he went into the Upper Labyrinth and was later seen among the Hundreders; contemporaries note that he left the Tenners in the same period that Estemard departed via the Day Gate.
