Two well-dressed visitors at the Concent of Saunt Edhar during Apert were each wearing a lanyard connected to a flasher of the type used Extramuros to demonstrate identity and control access to places. Because such devices are not required within the concent, both tucked their flashers into their breast pockets while touring.
