Pangees

Pangees is a provisional human nickname for one of the four groups among the Geometers currently in orbit around Arbre. The label is inspired by planet iconography seen on the visitors’ ship and on the four sample vials recovered at Ecba; the naming is explicitly described in discussion as provisional and not a self‑designation.

Naming and imagery

Observers noted four distinct planet emblems; informal names in use are “Antarcts,” “Pangees,” “Diasps,” and “Quators.” The “Pangee” icon is read as showing a world with one large continent, but this remains an inference from imagery rather than a confirmed fact.

Material findings and theorics

Laboratory reports describe the four vials of red fluid—assumed to be blood—as each composed of nuclei incompatible with Arbre’s matter and mutually incompatible with one another. The “Pangees” designation corresponds to one of these four types. Current models frame the four groups as originating from different cosmi or “worldtracks” with slightly different physical constants; these interpretations are active topics of dialog and remain tentative.

Relationships and current interpretations

• Reports circulated among avout and technical circles state that the deceased figure recovered with the Orithena probe has blood consistent with the “Antarct” matter type, while projectiles taken from the body are attributed to the “Pangee” cosmos. This reading is used by some to argue for tension or conflict between the Antarcts and the Pangees; all such attributions remain provisional and based on in‑story analyses rather than direct confirmation from the visitors.
