Provener team

Overview

The Provener team is the small crew responsible for winding the great clock at Provener within the Mynster. Their work coincides with the chime that signals the transition to the midday meal and is audible across the concent. The role is commonly recognized within the community; in one personal account, an avout contrasted thinking of himself as “a member of the Provener team” with a broader, planet-wide identity while traveling extramuros.
