Plurality of Worlds Messal

The Plurality of Worlds Messal is a themed dinner‑and‑dialog held in Avrachon’s dowment at Tredegarh during the Convox. It seats a small table of doyns with servitors in attendance to consider questions raised by a “plurality of worlds,” cultural as well as cosmological.

First convening and context

• Described as the first sitting, convened shortly after a large Plenary in the Unarian nave.
• Hosted by Suur Asquin (Heritor of Avrachon’s Dowment). Messal customs are observed: doyn–servitor pairs, a rope‑and‑bell call system, and a dedicated kitchen for the messallan. A one‑way sound feed lets kitchen staff follow the dialog.

Participants and roles

• Sæcular liaison: Ignetha Foral (“Madame Secretary”) attends and asks how to justify the messal’s value to Sæcular colleagues.
• Procian advocate: Fraa Lodoghir argues that language and meaning are assigned by culture and proposes that the messal develop a strategy to create shared language with the visitors.
• Thousander perspective: Fraa Jad speaks in terms of “Narratives” and prompts a move into configuration‑space thinking.
