Unarians

First Appearance and Context

The Unarians are first observed within the west nave of the Mynster during a daily aut of Provener. On that occasion, a group of fifteen green‑robed fraas and suurs emerged from behind their screen to lead the singing and chanting for the rite. Their nave is noted for having the finest stained glass and stone‑carving, befitting their status and resources.

Description and Role

Unarians are a named order within the larger world of the maths. They are described as the best‑endowed of all the maths—both in resources and in numbers—and are said to be easily numerous enough to fill the west nave. Members are associated with green robes. They sometimes provide the choir that leads parts of the Hylaean Anathem during Provener, joining voices with other maths across the screens of the chancel.

Relationships and Functions

Within the mathic community, the Unarians are one cohort among several orders who share ceremonial space in the Mynster. Their west nave stands opposite other groups’ naves, such as the Millenarians. Unarians are part of the broader institution of the Math, participating in common rites and observances.

Current Status

The Unarians are active and visible during daily rites; they occupy the west nave, and on the described occasion they supplied a fifteen‑voice choir in green robes to lead portions of the service.
