After a military-arranged arrival at Elkhazg, Magnath Foral greets the party in a shaded courtyard and offers a concise account of the complex’s origins: a Cartasian math that spun off a caravanserai and ferry, prospering by copying books, scrolls, and even geometric designs from passing trade. He assigns simple cells in the Old Cloister and, with a small staff, maintains the largely empty complex as a quiet, secure host site.

• Acts as proprietor-host of the caravansery, coordinating lodging and privacy for the visiting group.
• Explains Elkhazg’s long tradition in plane geometry and tilings, and its transition from math to privately maintained caravanserai.
