The Magisteria refers to the pair of authorities commonly recognized on Arbre: the Sæcular Power and the Mathic World. In current accounts, speakers use “the Magisteria” to treat these two as a single joint bloc when coordinated action or representation is meant.

The term is used after the dispersal into the Antiswarm to describe the Sæcular and mathic spheres acting together.
