Grandsuur Tamura

First appearance and context

During a mealtime in the Refectory at the Concent, the narrator notices Grandsuur Tamura standing by the exit with her arms folded. This occurs on the eve of Apert, as several fids are carrying their bowls toward the kitchen. After following others’ glances, the narrator catches her eye; she reacts sharply, swiveling her head as if to “strafe” him with her gaze.
