First Appearance and Context

Fraa Lio is introduced as a peer within a Decenarian math alongside Fraa Erasmas, seen in communal settings and in the Mynster during rites leading up to and including Apert. He has been selected for the four‑person winding team that tends the great clock at Provener.

Lio is solidly built and sometimes nicknamed "Thistlehead." He is physically demonstrative—at times flipping friends to the floor in roughhousing—but also quick to steady a peer when needed. He habitually fusses over posture (a mannerism he himself traces to terms from Vale-lore). He is also known for inventing new wraps and experimenting with how to pleat and secure the bolt and chord.
